PPP Sponsors Speed Networking at the Business Startup Show.
posted: November 23rd, 2010
As in previous years, PPP is sponsoring the Speed Networking at the Business Startup Show, at Earl’s Court on Tuesday 30th November and Wednesday 1st December. If you’ve never done speed networking before, it’s a great way to have face-to-face exposure to other businesspeople, see if there might be some synergy and mutual interest, and get your pitch and business cards out there.
PPP believes absolutely in the power of surrounding yourself with the right people and constantly looking for new and beneficial opportunities. As Mark Victor Hansen said, “Your network equals your net worth”, and that’s true both on a financial level and a personal one.
As you progress in your business life, you’ll find that if you surround yourself with successful people, adopt their attitude and approach, and follow their core business principles, you’ll start to become more successful yourself. You need to seek out the people who are already out there doing, earning and being what you want to do, earn and be, and every business networking opportunity presents the chance for you to make contact with someone who could lift you and your business to the next level.
Join the Platinum Property Partners community and become part of a powerful network of like-minded, entrepreneurial businesspeople
PPP is about more than simply making profit; it’s about ‘inspiring, mentoring and supporting like-minded individuals to BE more, DO more, HAVE more and GIVE more in life’ (the PPP Mission Statement). Not only are Franchise Partners (FPs) supported by a world-class team of legal, financial and property professionals, with regular training and development workshops; they benefit from an infrastructure of highly capable peers, among them the former worldwide finance director for Norwich Union and Aviva PLC and the former European Central Services Director for Coca-Cola.
Everyone within the franchise network is passionate about giving back and sharing the skills and expertise they have gained in their former careers, both with PPP as franchisor and with other FPs. In addition to all the forms of property investment PPP helps them master, there is also the opportunity for FPs to work for PPP on a consultancy basis – there are currently eight Franchise Partners carrying out various roles, from mentoring new FPs, to sales and marketing. And the network itself operates in regional councils, which meet to share best practice and provide mutual support and encouragement on a more local basis.
Kim and Steve Thorogood joined the franchise as foundation franchise partners in 2007. Says Kim, “The concept of achieving your own financial independence while helping and supporting others in the process ensures a community of positive, like-minded people, all with their own goals but similar aims. We look forward to building our business alongside PPP and all the Franchise Partners for many years to come.”
